I'm fundraising to attend Cornell University's 6-week Summer Program. Its a Dual-Program, meaning I'd be taking 2 college classes for college credits. I will be taking Introduction to Political Philosophy and a "Body, Mind, and Health" class that investigates how diseases affect the body with a focus on Tuberculosis, Anorexia Nervosa, and AIDS. I have thought about studying Political Science in college so the intro class will help me gain more experience in that area of study. The medical class intrigues me because I was diagnosed with Latent Tuberculosis this past year; so I would like to learn more about my illness and how its affecting my body.
