Recently, I just competed in High School State for swimming. I won all of my events and cut the time off in them. We also won all of our relays. Leading the girls to be Division IV State Runner Ups.

Last high school state our eight Lady Blue Gators won state for swimming. After winning, it reminded me how important putting in the work is throughout the whole year. Training for this award was not easy. Now we are all looking forward to high school state meet this year. I hope to improve all my times, win all my individual events, and relays to help my teammates earn the title once again.

The beginning of Junior year has to lead me to examine many colleges online. I have narrowed down two things I would love to major in and that is art or political science. I have a passion for art and have been taking every year at Ascension. I enjoy making art because it is an escape and I feel like it is one of my gifts that I can express myself with. I also think political science would be an amazing option since there are many positions and jobs I can follow with that degree. Swimming is still a very important aspect of my life. This past year I attended both Speedo Sectionals meets at The University of Texas A&M and the University of Texas. I learned many things and made many memories. It all reminded me how much I put into the sport and thats why I love it. I hope to visit and tour many schools by going on recruitment trips this year.

Recently, I have been interested in art again. I attended a college meeting for the University of SCAD. I am highly interest in art media and I am hopeful in communication with the swim coach maybe visit the campus.

Recently I have attended High school state for swimming with my school. We broke a district IV record in the 200 Medley Relay. I also placed second in both individual events I swam. Not only have did we swim fast, but we definatley enjoyed the whole meet as a team.

Just recently for history we made a project and wrote nine paragraphs on the buildings. We learned how to cite our information from online sources. The project was a group experience. We had to build our own civilization in and out of school. It was a great experience getting resources from online about other historical empires and civilizations. #citingresources

In the next month I will be taking part in LHSAA High School State Championships. I will be one of the youngest girls there as a freshman. I'm actually really extremely experienced, since I have been qualifying for division four every year since fifth grade. I'm super excited because the events I'm swimming I have a chance of winning. It is certain that our girls A relays this year that I'm apart of will win the meet like they have done for the past few years. I'm super excited and getting my way up to this point is a huge accomplishment for me. #offlinetoonline
