Hi, I'm Koren and I am a 9th grade student at Ascension. I enjoy playing many sports including basketball, and softball. Along with sports I also like to sing and play the guitar and piano. This year I am taking Biology. One of the things we learned about this year in Biology is bacteria. We had the opportunity to grow bacteria, and watch it change over time. Our class went out and collected three samples of bacteria to grow. We watched it grow for a week, and recorded the growth. It was really fun to watch, and all around a very in-lightning experiment.
This year I participated in the school’s annual musical. I had the opportunity to be a part of the new musical Freaky Friday. I loved rehearsing and I made lots of great new friends. It was so much fun watching the show come together, and performing it for our school. I had so much fun and can’t wait till next years musical.
I remember in my seventh grade English class I had to do a presentation on The New Deal. On part of our presentation we were required to have a work cited page. I remember learning how important it was to cite your work because plagiarism is a big deal. #citingresources
This past months my team and I have played in many volleyball games and finished our season. I hope to have many more fun filled games in the future. #offlinetoonline
