I am a 9th grader at Ascension Episcopal School. As a student, I participate in many sports such as soccer, tennis, and volleyball. I joined the school's varsity soccer team in 8th grade and I'm very excited about my second season. I hope to be on the varsity volleyball team one year. I also participate in the knitting club. As a club, we knit articles of clothing such as headbands and scarves. We donate our creations to those in need. I'm a very creative person and want to continue my passion for art throughout high school. I'm a very hard worker and will always strive to do my best in my community, school, and home. I have demonstrated community commitment throughout this school year by joining and participating in several school sports. My team effort and commitment to practice showed that I’m very dedicated to our school community. Since I usually get playing time, I focus and try my hardest to make each team proud. Also, I’m playing varsity soccer as a ninth grader. Since I’m younger than most girls on the team, I have to commit more time to practicing and staying fit. Overall, I demonstrate community commitment in our school by joining sports that I love and being a part of all of my teams. read more
