I have been riding horses, English style, for six years and still love it. Riding is my therapy but I have temporarily stopped riding due to my busy schedule. I enjoy playing basketball and softball. Teamwork and friendships are important to me. I cherish reading and writing. I do both as often as my free time allows. I hope to make writing at least a half time career. At Family Life Church I volunteer to cook for those in need through their Reach program. We recently helped feed 150 evacuees from Texas. I also participate in their youth group, 412, which is based on the scripture, 1 Timothy 4:12. I am a part of Cupcakes for Causes which raises money for those in need. As a group we not only cook together, sell together, but we also decide where we would like to apply our proceeds together. It truly is a group project in all aspects. I engage in Christ in the Classroom at Ascension Episcopal School. We attempt to make our school environment a more Godly place. Our priorities are raising confidence, worth, and awareness of the love of God. read more

When I graduate I would like to pursue a career as an author, teacher, or medical personnel. I love the idea of helping people and pointing them in the right direction. Whether it is explaining a question to a student or giving them tips on the healing process. I enjoy writing fictional stories and concentrate on characterization. Currently, I am in the writing process of five books. I am eager to explore both fields of interest and see where it takes me.
