Hi, I am Sydney Braun and I live in Youngsville, Louisiana. I go to Ascension Episcopal School and I am in the graduating class of 2022. I have been at ascension since 5th grade and I have really enjoyed getting to know new people, making new friends, and creating memories that I will remember for a lifetime. I have participated in student government since 5th grade and I am an officer in our school's chapter of SADD (Students against destructive decisions). I am also very involved in my school's athletics. I play volleyball, soccer, and I run track for ascension. In biology, we have been learning about how bacteria grows and reproduces. To learn more about the bacteria and to see a real-life example of how it reproduces we did a bacteria lab. We had to go around the school and swab some locations that we thought would have a lot of bacteria and then put them in an agar plate and in an incubator to see how they would grow. This is what my bacteria turned out like.
Today in history class we are playing monopoly to learn more about social systems. Yesterday we did feudalism and I was a peasant which pretty much made it so i could not win. Today we are playing capitalism and we will see how that turns out.

Last week our volleyball team did really well in the championship tournament. We got 3rd place out of the best teams in the area. We played really well. We were so excited. #offlinetoonline

I plan to go to college and major in a pre-medicine track and possibly play either volleyball or track in college. I plan to become a doctor or surgeon. I also want to get married and have kids one day. I want to travel the world and help kids and people in underprivileged countrys.
