During the summer the Gator Jazz competition team went to state. Throughout the summer the team practiced hard to win first place. We would practice over and over until the dance was perfection. The Competition team was a great learning experience for me and highlight of my summer. Im thankful for having a team so dedicated, the worked paid off and we won first place!! Next, we go to Nationals!!

In Jilisti, there is a variety of classes from hip hop to modern to jazz. My dance teacher influenced me to love dance and she has assisted me to improve. I wouldn't be as good in dancing as I am today if my dance teacher wasn’t there to guide me. I enjoy helping other dancers in my class who are new to Jilisti by helping them learn dance moves and being friendly to them. I've done dancing for five years and my dedication has helped me become better. Dancing has given me patience and a better memory, which will help me in college. Dance has benefited me because it's a great physical sport. There are many people in my Jilisti class I have learned many social skills. Social skills help me in job interviews, making friends, and many other things in life. One day I hope to become a professional dance teacher and pass my knowledge of dancing to the next generation of dancers.

Last semester, I was assigned to build and write about a better civilization. My civilization was influenced by Ancient Rome. I also based my civilization off of modern society. My work cited links provides information about the Romans and Greeks. #citingresources

A couple of weeks ago, I was nominated for the national youth leadership forum. I am attending the medical program in California. This program will help me learn more about science. I am devoted to academics and love to learn more. The program includes hands-on models and critical thinking in medicine. This is an excellent opportunity to explore in the medical field. #offlinetoonline
