About Me

My name is Arianna Hurtado, I am a 16 year old Junior at Peekskill High School. I have a very enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, and genuine personality. I am envolved in a ton of clubs and activities inside and outside of school while still working hard to maintain higher than a 3.7 GPA. I have been Class President since Freshman year, Environmental Club President, I am a part of the interact Club, the Drama Club, the Ski Club, the 4H Gardening Club, French Club, Latino Culture Club, and the Mercury Newspaper. I play on the Varsity Volleyball team and am captain of the Cheerleading squad. I have been a part of a youth group called the Westchester County Youth Council for six years, doing community service activities, advocacy in not only Westchester County but in New York. I admire advocacy and stand up for what I believe no matter what. I do active community service every week including park clean ups and giving a hand at the senior home every Thursday. I take dance lessons every week. I have been dancing since the age of three and am disciplined in every dance. I do club volleyball two nights a week. In addition, I am currently taking AP Spanish Language, AP English, and AP United States History. Lastly, I love learning new things, advocating, being envolved in my community, and always being occupied with something productive and fun to do.
