What I'm Fundraising For
I have recently been accepted to study abroad in Salamanca, Spain, through a program called ISA (International Study Abroad). I'm thrilled to be starting my journey this Summer where I will be studying Spanish at the University of Salamanca. While in Spain I will be taking courses in Spanish as well as history and culture courses. Check out my acceptance letter on my profile.
Why This Is Important To Me:
I've almost completed my degree in International Business and this is one of my last steps to pursuing my career in helping businesses and people of different cultures interact. I have a great love of not only the Spanish language, but also the culture and believe that this experience will further my language skills. Studying abroad is a once in a life time opportunity. Not only will I be visiting another country, but I'll be living just as the locals and feel it will help me become a more independent and professional person.
How I Will Use The Funds:
The total cost of my program is $9,000! Fortunately I've been working hard for awhile now to try and reach my dream of studying in another country. I've been busy working hard at 3 jobs to not only pay for my regular tuition but also to try and save for this amazing opportunity. That being said I am still short. I'm hoping by raising $1500 I will be able to reach my goal and will be on my way to Spain in May!
