As a student on an isolated island, to be exact, American Samoa, I am honored to be accepted to one of the most prestigious programs that JSA (Junior Statesman of America) offers at Stanford University every summer. Although I am very ecstatic about this trip, I am not exactly sure if my financial situation would allow me to go with my single-parent mom baring with cents of the costs.
