Certifies students in appropriate grade level writing, grammar, vocabulary, and digital creations. - Issued by Fleming County Schools
Students earn the Composition Badge by completing/ demonstrating the following:
(D) Students must demonstrate mastery of the indicator component
(E) Students must upload evidence of the indicator component
- Demonstrate a command of the conventions of standard English ( Quill Grammar, Quill Proofreader, and Quill Connect) (E)
- Composition of the three modes of writing: argumentative/opinion, informative/explanatory, and narrative (E)
- Create and publish products individually and/or in collaboration with peers. (E)
- Engage in grade-level appropriate research and projects involving real-world writing (D)
- Demonstrate understanding in idea development, audience and purpose for writing (D)
- Leverage appropriate tools to consume, create, communicate, and connect. (D)
- Adapt to constantly evolving tools and appropriately integrate into daily life. (D)
- Demonstrate mastery of production of writing, knowledge of language, and conventions of standard english (E)
