Certifies students in appropriate grade level problem-solving tasks that formulate and evaluate solutions to real-world problems. - Issued by Fleming County Schools
Students earn the Problem Solving Badge by completing/ demonstrating the following:
(D) Students must demonstrate mastery of the indicator component
(E) Students must upload evidence of the indicator component
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize solutions to difficult or complex situations. (D)
- Implement and reflect critically on a solution. (D)
- Understand the “bigger picture” and propose solutions that are mindful to the impact they may have on other parts of a system. (D)
- Consistently improve the quality of one’s own thinking by skillfully analyzing, assessing, and reconstructing. (D)
- Applies disciplined thinking that is clear, rational, open-minded, and informed by evidence. (D)
- Participate in solving one or more problems connected to grade-level appropriate curriculum. (E)
